My story is best told through my passion for care. Starting as a registered mental health nurse, I then trained for registration in adult nursing. My experience in mental health and adult care nursing showed me the importance of feeling comfortable in your own skin. The relief and empowerment that feeling confident provides. For the last 20 years I have been an aesthetics nurse, offering direct, personalised care for clients in South Wales.
But aesthetics has never been accessible. Beauty is gate-kept by high costs and exclusive circles. That is what I have spent the past 20 years of my life fighting. I made it my mission to make aesthetics accessible and affordable. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to feel their best self.
So for over two decades I have dedicated myself to providing aesthetics treatments. To forming lasting relationships with my clients. Striving to be continuously learning, ensuring I always provide the best treatments possible for my clients every time. You're never too old for treatments. One of my first clients was an elderly lady who chose to have Botox and filler for her 90th birthday. She spent her incredible birthday celebrating with her sisters in Devon.
I treated a lady who was in remission from breast cancer. She felt like she lost herself through the treatments and showed me a photo of herself before. Being able to help this incredible lady find a sense of normality, to help her claim a piece of herself back, was a moment that I can never forget.
A groom to be came to me asking for Botox in the smile lines. He was worried about looking his best on his big day. Seeing his wedding photos is a moment that still sticks with me. His confidence beamed on his face.
No more 'resting bitch face'. A woman in her 40's came to me asking for help to make her look more approachable. This amazing woman was looking to foster vulnerable teenagers but felt that her frown lines made her look angry.
A woman in her 50's had just endured her second episode of Bell's palsy. She was left with reduced movement on one side of her face. I treated the unaffected side to help restore facial symmetry.
I treated a client for her 20th consecutive year. I have many clients who have been with me for well over a decade. But this woman in particular has been with me from the start. We have become close friends and share holidays together.
